The Northwest Experience with Water Quality Trading for Compliance

A discussion hosted by the U.S. Water Alliance Business Advisory Council:

This discussion will highlight efforts to use watershed restoration actions to help meet new restrictions in water permits throughout the U.S. The presentations will cover water quality trading programs—analysis, design and implementation—in the Pacific Northwest, as well as the legal challenges to solving what the Clean Water Act was meant to solve. The case studies and examples will provide policy makers with background to make informed decisions on quantified restoration actions and credit trading for compliance.
